Gone in 20 Minutes (Gi20) was created in 2011 as a new initiative for the outdoor arts sector. The programme assists with the development and touring of new and emerging outdoor artists and projects. Innovative and invigorating work can come from all performing arts disciplines.

Participating companies are chosen from an open application process and receive funding as well as mentoring and guidance to help realise their ideas. The completed works are presented at high profile events throughout the year with the chance to win Jury and Audience awards that entail further cash injections.

Showcasing platforms have included Gi20 partners such as Stockton International Riverside Festival, Event International, Hull Freedom Festival, Southwark Council’s Blackfriars Stories, CREATE, National Theatre’s Inside Out Festival, SO Festival, Watermans, and Remarkable Productions.
